Guide Dogs for the Blind (GDB) is a nonprofit, charitable organization with a mission to provide guide dogs and training in their use to visually impaired people throughout the United States and Canada. Our dogs and services are free to those we serve, thanks to the generosity of donors and support of volunteers. We are devoted to promoting the human/animal bond. To better protect your privacy we provide this statement explaining our online information practices.

Answering Electronic Messages
We use return email addresses to answer emails we receive. Such addresses are only shared with outside parties for GDB business and the outside partner is bound by our term of confidentially agreement. Postal addresses may be used, as required, to properly respond to your message, and to send you Guide Dogs for the Blind newsletters.

Guide Dogs for the Blind strives to keep your information secure and safeguard it from unauthorized access by using firewalls to protect our servers and virus/intrusion detection software. However, no transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed 100% secure, so you provide your information at your own risk.
